This is some indica (or mostly indica) bagseed, its just a start to this grow. There are two floro fixtures totaling 110 watts, however this is only temporary. It will eventually be replaced by a HPS. Anwway, for day 30 of veg, how would you guys say its doing? and The some bottom leaves turned yellow, is this a problem?
110 watts for one plant is good. not sure what your problem is with your yellow leafs cuz i cant see them. what watt is your hps? what kind of soil do you have and do you feed it ferts?
They're 10.000k spectrum flourescents. I know for veg they should be using 6500k but until now it was doing just fine. It was just the bottom two leaves. Im not sure exactly what the wattage is but Its in the 100-115 watt range. There are two lights. I plan on using an HPS for flowering but I haven't purchased one yet and It will most likely be a 250 watt. and to be honest im just using normal potting soil with no ferts.
the yellow is the beginning of nitrogen deficiency. nothing to worry about, in soil I usually wait for the yellowing to start before I start feeding with mild nutes, 1/4 to 1/2 strength. plant's a bit small for 30 days. you'll do better with more light, but you can get some bud, just takes longer, and you won't get as much. peace
to be honest with you, I'm not as experience as many on here so you may want to use the search feature for some more ideas. I used water soluble mg ferts. for my soil grow. about once a week when you water, add a cup or two of mild nutes to your medium, you should notice results within a day or two. within a few weeks you should be up to full strength nutes. flush your medium every couple of weeks to keep organic salts from nutrients building up and causing nutrient lock out. if you notice any nute burn flush right away. with some practice you'll get the hang of it. peace
