C-Clamp instead?

    Went to the head shop... their smallest press is 45 for and it's just like in the one in the GC shop, the $20 Sharpstone press. I was wondering if I could use my C-clamp instead. Are there any major differences other than the ones at the shops make nice lil hash "pills" and the clamp will make a flat blob?
