buying weed online, is this drug trafficking?

    Right now I don't have anyone I know to buy weed from. haven't smoked any since high school but I'm interested in trying it again. I've heard you can buy online and even saw a forbes article confirming that buying online works. The other thing I like about online is that you can choose from hundreds of types and if I find one I really like then I'd be able to get it consistently. In massachusetts (my home state) if you have less than an ounce its punishable only by a 100$ fine. But my friend said I might be charged with drug trafficking. Does this sound like something I should be worried about if I were to try to buy less than an ounce online?

    if you have drugs mailed to you and you're caught, it's a federal drug trafficking charge.

    growing your own is less risky than that.. narcs and scammers own that biz
