Buying some "dro". What should i expect?

That's the dro I get. Dunno what it's like in your area though, probably similar.

 

Where I'm from 'dro' is just another term for beasters or headies.

Yes, but unless you actually know the person, there's no way to tell if it is even hydro. I used to by this "hydro" from this guy, it was like brown weed, really powdery and crusty, but I told myself it was hydro and smoked it out of my bong and got blazed as fuck.


Oh my point...yeah, it means its grown in water, what does that mean? I guess its simply better regs. You could grown white widow in water but you wouldnt be like I got some "hydro widow", thats stupid.

And if you are worried about your dealer lacing your weed and not telling you, then you need a new dealer.

 

First of all, no one "does" weed. people "smoke" weed.

second of all, a single gram of cocaine costs around 80 dollars, so no one will waste good coke just to lace weed. It's a matter of economics, it's completely silly to waste money like that. Also, smoking coke on weed doesn't do that much. I've done it (as i'm sure others on this forum have) and it doesn't do much. Just makes your weed taste odd. You get a better coke buzz from snorting it or freebasing it.

Third, "dro" is short for "hyDROponic" which just means weed grown in water, which is a more efficient method, especially for large scale indoor operations (I think. Someone correct me if i'm wrong). You can find out more about it on the GC growing boards.

It's a common misconception that Hydroponic weed is better than any other kind. It all depends on how much time and effort the grower spends on it. Some people grow outdoor that's better than most indoor. In the end, distinctions between growing methods and settings (indoor, outdoor, hydro, organic) are pretty much immaterial. The biggest factor in the quality of weed is the skill of the grower.

 

yeabh that's pretty much it too many ppl trip out when they hear the word "dro" becuz rappers like to say it, but all it means is it's hydroponic, which doesn't mean shit. i've had hella shitty "dro" and outdoor that was bomb as hell, he's right it's all in the grower. and yeah weed is rarely laced

Dro is what people in my area call mids. Also one time I saw a high times mag with a plant called dro.

 

As we have established numerous times 'Dro' means hydroponic and shitty weed can be hydroponicly (SP?) grown. it wont be called dro if it's shitty, it'll be called shitty weed. In my area only high quality marijuana can be called dro.

 

While yes, dro means hydroponic, it doesnt even refer to that around here really, its just beasters. It just so happens that the beaster are probably hyrdoponically grown in canada and sent here, cause its not great compared to what they're accustomed.

your not going to find shitty weed grown hydroponically. hydroponics is used to put the plant in the perfect growing environment and costs more $$$ to maintain than a soil grow no ones going to grow swag with hydro, people that grow shitty weed grow it somewhere where they dont have to keep an eye on it much, you have to keep a close eye on hydro plants therefore all males are going to be taken out so no seeds and more energy put into producing buds. not saying you cant grow amazing bud with soil, cuz you can
