Buying new bong, Suggestions??

  1. Okay so I plan on purchasing A semi-nice bong this is basically my first nice bong I will be buying, I own several other types of glass, I have two sherlocks, one spoon pipe and a vaporizer. Just never have purchased a bong. I just would like it simply clear with ice pinchers and possible a perc or diffusor. here's the tricky part I don't really wanna spend more then $65-$75 on it. Could I still potentially get a decent sturdy bong for this price? And also I don't want anything to big and bulky. So what height would be good. I was thinking like 20cm high? I dunno just please let me know what you're thoughts are for first time bong purchase. Thanks

  2. since its your 1st bong get like a 2 footer maybe 1/2 maybe an ice chamber and an ashcatcher but you relly dont need that fancy stuff. my 1st bong was just a plane 2 footer and it worked me wonders.
oh and if you dont get a bong with an ice chamber you can just put ice in the water and the hit'll be alot smoother

  3. Molino Glass is shoddy and the MSv2 is notoriously fragile.

2 feet is already overkill, 2.5 would be ridiculous. Adding an ashcatcher at that price range would mean your bong would cost like $30 AND your ashcatcher would be chinese shit.

BUT, this guy has a point, since it's your first tube I recommend a decent straight tube (w/ ice pinches, they really are wonderful). An Ehle 500ml w/ ice pinches on EDIT will run you $76+shipping (around $20 shipping), but IMO Ehle is the best you'll get in their price range. Quality control is tops and it's not terrible Chinese glass. You can also get the same bong without ice pinches for 7 or 8 dollars less.

There's also the possibility of hitting up local blowers or Etsy/Artfire artists for something. They're generally cheaper than any name brand and there's many quality artists online.

  4. Thanks that's a great deal of help! I like the looks of almost all Ehle, I like basic clear looks a lot like ROORs. My local head shop is the only licensed ROOR dealer in the area and I like there ICEmaster 5.0 but I believe it's to expensive for what it actually is.

Yeah all I really would like is a decent sized one not to tall and an ice chamber and diffuser, an ashcatcher at MOST.

Ive heard that thing tips over when you put an ashcatcher on it and breaks really easily.

When you buy a bong you should really go all out. make sure to get a good one that will last.

Ive owned a lot of bongs and i think the best way to go is for a 21" straight tube, at least 7mm, (doesnt break as easily as beakers) with ice pinches and diffuser stones. Percs dont really seem to do all that much and half the time they just make it drag like crazy and a bitch to clean.

if you buy an ashcatcher get an inline for style points

Ive always thought these on the GC store looked really good for the price

Everyone on here forgets EDIT is in pounds so those prices are about double the price for Canadians.

I would suggest the nautilus in the grasscity shop it is right in your price range and the only piece in your price range that no one has complained about.

  7. Also to add, the EHLE ice 250ml looks good.
