Buying From Local Headshops Over Online

Discussion in 'Cannabis Consumption Q&A & Tips' started by terpsnation, Sep 10, 2012.

  1. Hey Blades,

Was just thinking of this recently. Does anyone else buy from their local headshop over getting stuff online (in a consistent manner)?

When I started smoking, I bought most of my stuff online, since it was far cheaper and much less of a hassle. Nowadays, I find myself consistently buying stuff from my local headshop, even though their prices are a decent amount over buying off of Amazon or GC.

For instance, a few weeks ago I decided to get a new Space Case 4-piece grinder. I looked online at Amazon, and the price was $75. Went over to the headshop, and it was $100. I talked w/ the guy behind the counter, and got him to give it to me for $90. Even though I was paying $15 extra, I like to encourage the local business, and love going and looking around the headshop without buying a bunch, so I don't like the thought of them going out of business.

However, for all other stuff, I am a complete deal hunter and strive to get the lowest prices on everything, which generally means buying online or from a big-box store.

  2. I guess this kind of belongs in Apprentice. Screw this whole new "Tokers Q&A" section - always confusing me and shit.
