Buying a New LED Light

    I just finished up my first indoor LED grow. I had two small lights that couldn't produce nearly enough light. I only got 10 G off of three small plants but it was a good learning experience. I'm looking to upgrade lights before I start again. I have a budget of around $200 (I know I should invest more but I'm a college student and I only have a 2.5-2.5 tent and I'll grow 1 - 2 plants) I'm looking at the Vipor Spectra 450w LED grow light and it seems to have great reviews but I'm a little skeptical of it due to the price. Has anyone used this light? Or any suggestions for another 450w light I should get instead? [​IMG][​IMG]

    For that money look into the mars reflector series. @smokesara can hook it up!

    I recently got the PAR 600 from Viparspectra and my plants are loving it @ $ 224. 250 w/ shipping. It pulls about 285 watts from the wall.

    I have two mars pro epistar 80's and highly recommend looking into them. They have been giving me great results, and have newer better tech than the vipars or old school mars 300s.
    If i had a tent your size and with your budget, id get one of these mars pro 80s as a centerpiece for that tent, throw in a few weaker lights (like the ones you already have) as side lighting. I got mine for 180 each shipped.
    also, the mars pro 80s are named as such because they have 80 epistar diodes. they are 5 watt diodes so thats 400 watts of diodes, ran at about 185 true watts when both switches are on.

    I was going to get this same light, until I saw the meizhi 450. Higher par. Cheaper. Still has both switches and about the same size. It was a toss up between the viparspectra and the meizhi but after YouTube reviews I went with the Meizhi 450

    I'm going to be getting the viparspectra 450 for my veg tent, and keep the meizhi 450 in the flower tent to kinda compare and test. See which 2 600 watts I get for my final 4x4x7 tent.

    May i know you like to hang the 2pcs Mars Pro II Epistar 80 seperately or use the U-connector as a group?
    I'm glad that you like our Mars Pro II Epistar80,this is the best LED grow light among our lights so far.It will better light intensity and penetrate deeper.:weed:
