To answer your question...Yes. But I don't remember the names right now. Have anyone ever bought a game with low expectations but that game turned out to be great?
Golden eye 007. I rented it, played it and it was cool. Bought it wasnt thrilled, wanted to take it back. Toy works wouldnt let me. So i went home and played it FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!
Its a shit stain on the good name of lotr mate. I actually dont have too many regrets. Mirrors edge is about the only one i can think of. But i ended up selling that for a £1 more than i paid for it. Result ! I bought {well my mate did} wolfenstien 3d on the psn network. He was thinking of a more recent wolfenstien which had two player i think {the alcohol wasnt helping}. Loaded it up and it was the very first one. Gutted. Good in its day perhaps but for sony to charge £7 for it these days. Come on to fuck. I thought theyd have maybe at least tarted up the graphics a bit.
ill probably get all nerd raged on but, I didnt buy it but borrowed Oblivion from a friend and have not been able to finish it. being VERY outdated doesnt help. I never played it when it first came out but it definately hasnt aged well. not digging the art style, loading? holy shit, story line and characters are static, and I feel the combat it just downright boring. too bad since I was playing this to get backstory on Skyrim cause thats looks tight, but now idk.
I get off on ames with bad graphics and shitty mechanics, it brings me back to my childhood....ahhh blast corps. Now THAT was a shitty game!
Why do people STILL pay almost 60 bucks for a game? Thats like paying for porn, when its free all over the net. If you just wait maybe a week after enough people will realize its a shitty game and you can grab it online for pennies on the dollar! Either that or for fucks sake read the reviews. Do your research.
How old are you broseph. I meant the original version for the nintendo 64. Im almost 25 i bought that shit brand new.
lol i misunderstood you, I thought you were defending the wii version. I completely agree with you broseph the original was kick ass. i was 11 at the time though. This was way before it was even popular. For all i knew it wasnt all that great. Video games are hard to an 11 yr old. Theyve got short fingers and a limited attention span. I still have my n 64 i still play golden eye with my friends. Classics never die.
Oh ok Yeah the wii version looked wack to me. What they really need to do is bring it back on xbl and psn with all the classic maps and such. I can just imagine how many people would be playing that.
You know it took me YEARS as a kid to beat the entire game? I seriously couldnt figure out how to unlock the temple level. Then they FINALLY came out with push button codes. But back then there was no internet so i lost the magazine that printed them. I was so pissed.
it wasn't BAD i wouldn't say... but it wasn't great. i guess my hopes were too high because i love rockstar. i just thought it was really easy, and even though i would normally get 75% or more of the questions right it was obvious you didn't always need much to figure out what was going on. absolutely not worth the price tag
