Buyer's remorse

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by hellomoto, Mar 25, 2010.

  1. How many of y'all experience buyers remorse after purchasing glass or another accessory. Basically every piece I've bought with the exception of my new roor I have second guessed the wisdom of. Even the nice art handpiece I bought a few months ago I wish I could take back. Don't get me wrong, getting new glass makes me giddy and for a highschooler I have a great job and am generally responsible with my earnings, but after I buy an ashcatcher for my roor I hopefully will indefinately resist the urge to buy more glass

  2. Happens to me every time I buy anything expensive.

  3. i always go to pretty much every headshop here (they are all within like a 15 block radius of eachother) and make sure im making a good choice for the size/paint/price. But yet...i ALWAYS feel it too man hahahahaha

  4. I think it happens to everyone, but when you first get it that joy is amazing. I agree that it happens with everything expensive that I buy.

  5. i bought a $130 dollar very nice Lux bong in Venice and the next day while it was in it's big bag, i slightly dropped it. Seemed fine though. Go to put some water in, the perc is COMPLETELY snapped, shattered and is unable to come out because of the dome water catcher. :( I definitely regretted buying that, but i copped a new one in Venice 2 days later.

  6. Something similar happened to my buddy. He bought a brand new bong, took it outside to sesh (keep in mind this is in the middle of Canadian winter), came back inside after he was done and the whole top of the bong just shattered off.

Luckily I was able to salvage it for him with some careful dremel work, but the store wouldn't even give him a refund or anything, even though it had broken along a hairline crack.

  7. Thats odd, I've never had this feeling about any of my pieces. Though I almost never use my bong due to its huge bowl that just sucks hits up like nothing.. I mean I could pack a g in my bong, and it will last me like 15 hits.. Or i can pack like .2-.3 in my pipe and still get 10-15 hits if i corner it right. But for smoking with friends, nothing beats a nice bong sesh.

  8. nothing wrong with collecting glass:D

  9. Yeah I bought a $60 bubbler a while back and was really iffy about it after. But I still have it now and I still love it so now im glad I have it haha.

  10. yea i was like you i just couldnt find the right glass then i bought a bong and its been a year havent bought 1 more glass

  11. Just bought a Glass Sherlock pipe the other day. I hated it for like the first 2 days I had it. Then I was like WTF, this thing is AWESOME :smoking::smoking:
