    Im going to make pot butter with trimmings from a plant I am growing. I was thinking since I will be simmering the trimmings with butter that I dont need to decarb first??

    You will do best if you decarb at 240F for 40 minutes. You want the trim to be as dry as possible. Just cook the cannabis and butter together about two hours. Enjoy your butter, mate.
