Ardent FX is what I use but never did an infusion with it
There is a little smell
The machines are more efficient and the decarb is consistent unlike a lot of other methods
People bad mouth them because of cost but it will pay for itself in perfectly decarbed cannabis
What folks dont talk about is when your cannabis gets wet or you forget it in the oven
Do that a couple of times and thats an Ardent fx worth of cannabis wasted
Push a button and get wasted if you want, turns itself off

As for other methods
Do a LOT of research on their efficiency
Its an eye opener and I don't want to start a war over methodology
Methods I thought were bad turned out to be the best and vice versa
The infusion process is just low heat and time

 

I use a Pot by Noids.
It's pricey but worth it IMO.
It decarbs and infuses both THC and CBD........it also does extraction.

 

Since I constantly get accused of spiking my hash capsules with LSD I'll assume they kick some ass. I'll never change from the convention style toaster oven I found on the curb on trash day. I can read the thermometer through the glass door. It holds temps spot on. If it ever dies, I'll buy a copy of it.

Me neighbor uses one of the machines and even when I give him the same hash i grow and make, he complains his oil isn't the same. Well, you didn't follow my directions and your toy under decarbed and over cooked it is my guess.

10 years and hundreds of batches of hash and oil with well over 10,000 capsules hand filled and consumed by me. My oil is speedy as can be with the short processing and none of the so-called infusing machines will run a 10- or 20-minute cycle as far as I know. Useless as tits on a boar, screen doors in submarines ect...

Use the same process for everything and blend this with warm liquid butter for use in baked goods. This is BadKats magical high lecithin recipe and until you try it you just don't have a clue on how well it works. Stop cooking the life out of your oil. It damn sure doesn't need hours and hours of cooking.

 

Hell when the oven is full of Hash decarbing I'll even do the infusing on the Mr. Coffee mug heater for 10 minutes. All the infusing seems to need is to come up to full temp. On capsule making day I'm working as fast as I can, and I'll knock out 300 capsules or more in one whack.

You need an Oven to decarb. I do 30 grams of hash at 240 F for 40 minutes uncovered each time. Thousands of grams. The only time you can screw this recipe up is to under decarb or over cook.

You can forget or just miss setting the timer and suddenly smell the decarb really strong and look at a long-stopped clock and wonder just how far over time this run was. Don't matter. You can way over run the time and not hurt things at all.

It turned to dust and the product was not psychoactive

I think it was high times that tested extended decarb and found much the same as I did. Up to twice as long caused no real change. Now that doesn't mean unlimited. But we do have some leeway.
