No, they aren't. The problem is that they actually think they are protecting citizens from danger, when it is citizens they are arresting.

 

I feel bad for the situation but I don't know the people. Due to Prohibition a lot of very bad, dangerous people peddle drugs. I don't automatically feel sorry for anyone just because they get busted. For all we know they were violent killers.

That's a HUGE reason for legalization. Make it legal and then criminals won't be involved in the trade to the extent they are now.

All that having been said I also am not condemning them. Like I said I don't know them. They could be violent cartel dealers or they could just be doin' their own thing. The guns, crack, and volume of money tend to indicate to me that they are probably low level criminal dealers though.

I'm fully supportive of keeping crack illegal. It has no redeeming values.

 

Look at them posing with all that money, I guarantee they pocket SO much of that there is no way some patrol officer makes a bust of 5 grand and doesn't take something.

 

Regardless of whether or not they are dirty, the pictures really show the naivete of the NLPD. A few grams of crack? Give me a break. Get a few POUNDS off the street and you can smile that wide.

You can tell these cops are retarded (Aside from how the dues face looks(to the right of the girl)). If you consider the following as a BIG BUST then you should just shoot yourself with your own sidearm.

Officer Starkey and Officer Bergeson on foot patrol, with help from 4th squad, AVT and 5 other patrol officers, seize 8 grams of crack, 15.3 grams of marijuana, and $1,237 in cash. After fighting with suspects total of 13 charges between two suspects.
