Bushy top & Bare bottom

  1. My plant is getting really full at the top but the bottom is super bare. It’s 32 days from seed, just wondering should I try and remove the root ball from the soil and place the main stem lower into the pot or just leave as is? Can I excavate the sides and try to lower it? Tons of questions. Any feedback is appreciated thank you.

  2. By no means am I an expert but the growth looks fine to me. If your trying to lst I’d actually start training the plant just above the lowest node. Now here’s where my mom experience comes in. But you may have some nute burn going on with those tips and I’m guessing the spots on the fan leaf are from the light magnifying thru drops of water in your leaves. Just my two cents but the growth looks all good to me.

  3. Yeah I’m fighting an ongoing battle with nute burn right now and I think the newer growth is responding pretty well currently. I just see so many other plants with stems that only extend a couple of inches out of the soil before all the branches shoot off.

  4. By LSTing just above the lowest node do you mean to bring my tops all the way down to the same height as my lowest 2 branches?

  5. Your light is either not strong enough or you kept it too far away from the top of the plant. That's the reason you have a stretched spindly plant.
