Burying a plant deep

  1. When you bury a plant deep during transplant does it mean you are cutting off the top half of the soil for roots to grow in? I know people say that more roots grow off the buried stem but I'm not sure they always do. Can I Bury a plant say half down a in a pot and it will have enough space to grow good roots?

  2. You can. Just make sure to not over saturate the soil at transplant. Cannabis has adventitious roots (roots that form from non-root tissue). This means they have the ability to grow more roots along their stems at any point where the stem is buried.

  3. After you cut all the branches off. Get a knife razor so on. Lightly scrape the stem to take the very first layer off . This will allow that stem to form roots more easily . No i said scrape . Not scalp. Very light scraping just to rupture the first surface.
