i have about 10 1 quart mason jars with 44 grams in each jar the humidity reading started at 72% a week ago and i have been burping and dumping them out every day until i got it down to around 64% then today i figured i would just burp them for like 5 minutes and seal them back up so i opened them all up and got ready for work I keep them in a locked cool dark room and when i got home from work 10 hours later i openened up the room and noticed the smell LOL i forgot to reseal them I dont think it caused much damage I will look in the morning they seem ok but if it were a hot dry room i would be crying right now
