Burning Throat Days After Smoking Weed

Discussion in 'Cannabis Consumption Q&A & Tips' started by StayFly, May 19, 2014.

  1. So I don't smoke anything other than weed and I smoke about every other day for the past year or so. 3 days ago I smoked out of my mini bubbler while slightly sick, and had what I thought was a slight sore throat the next day. It was hard to talk at times, my voice basically felt a little hoarse but I could tell it wasn't exactly like a normal sore throat.
Well I smoked again that day, and I took a couple fast hits from it that burned my throat a bit, but it didn't hurt that bad until I took a nap. When I woke up from the nap, my throat burned bad just to swallow. My throat was better today, I've been producing a lot of mucous in my throat probably to help it heal and whatnot...

But basically I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this? It's not really normal, my throats never burned the next day after smoking...I really wanna smoke but don't want to make it any worse. My throat currently doesn't hurt unless I get out of breath for example by running and then my mouth gets dry. Then I'll try to swallow and it hurts. Any advice?

  2. Drink some ginger tea to relieve the pain.

  3. Throat still hurts 3 days after. Scared to smoke

  4. Stop smoking start vaporizing!

You probably inhaled a little different and burnt the back of your throat a bit. I've done that a bunch, not fun.

  5. Also, try making an edible while you have throat pain.
