Burn or Defeciency??

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by dtlslasher, Oct 31, 2019.

  1. Ppm @ 750 not rising or dropping much
    PH @ 5.5-6.5 always
    Temps 72-78°F
    RH: 40-50%

Nutes: Flora 3 part, using mostly bloom and micro. Also using FloraBlend and Cal-Mag. Should I be adding koolbloom??

Light is 1000W hps and is about 9-12 in from canopy with NO ROOM to move higher... again the canopy stays cool around 78°F.

My first thought is light burn or potassium or phosphorus deficiency. I'm hoping a more well-trained set of eyes could help

    THANKS

    3 plants total .. 1 is perfect other 2 show symptoms 20191030_144321.jpg 20191030_144357.jpg 20191030_144332.jpg 20191030_144338.jpg 20191030_144451.jpg

  3. Woops.... could that affect the nutrient uptake and leaves? New pics from today...getting a little worse on one plant. Ph today is at 5.7 exactly, ppm rose from 750 to 850-900 adding plain phd water now... tapatalk_1572551815452.jpeg tapatalk_1572551819959.jpeg tapatalk_1572551824698.jpeg tapatalk_1572551829186.jpeg

  4. I am using tap water at 100ppm and I believe I may have a calcium overload causing potassium lockout!. My buckets were very close to empty today and ppms were at 800-950 in range so I added 2 gallons of water to each bucket at 250ppm with NO ADDED CAL/MAG and ADDED a little florabloom to help replenish K.

  5. UPDATE: After changing the water out with fresh nutes @750ppm with NO ADDED CAL/MAG I noticed a huge turnaround within 24 hours. no problems since as we enter week 4 of flower. The canopy has indeed reached my light completely pics coming soon!

  6. I guess tap water here has plenty of calcium :)
