Bunk controller, please advise

  1. I spent 500 bucks on a cap xgc-1e and when it arrived, it wouldn't read below 1100 ppm outdoors. So I returned it to the seller, and today I got the replacement.. This time it won't read below around 1020. The seller is telling me that both units are perfectly functional and is starting to give me a hard time. Is it possible to have co2 levels this high outside of the f'n jungle?! The manual says the unit should be reading between 250-550 outdoors, and to return it to the factory if otherwise.. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  2. ^ sorry for the bump.. This seller is being a real c u next thursday and I just want to be sure that having an outdoor reading that high verifies that the unit is out of calibration.

  3. If its own manual is saying what it should be250 > 550 and its not you have a defective unit unless you have to calibrate it or something..

  4. If all else fails get a refund and get one elsewhere. Sounds like its defective unless youre reading it wrong.

  5. Do you live in an extremely high pollution area?
