Hello everyone, hope all is well in the world today gotta couple questions about bulbs. How long is an HPS as good for? I just got done chopping my third crop, my bulb now has six months on it. This last crop looked good, but I dont want to get halfway through my next one and notice slowed growth. I found these artemis bulbs on ebay for 30 bucks, they say they're comparable to the hortilux eye, any one know anything about these bulbs, good or bad? eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
HPS bulbs are good for 12-18 months. Hortilux bulbs are pretty expensive with a price of $75 for the 250w, and much more expensive for the higher wattage bulbs. For $30 I don't see how they can be "comparable". You get what you pay for.
Ive always changed my bulbs at 12 months alone with my pre filters for my can filter and a few other things. Its nice to keep your room up to date
