Works pretty well for my area. :D

  2. nice. I just built mine last week with basically the same layout.

oh where did you find that duct fan?

  3. Got the fan at Home Depot.

  4. Nice. I asked at my local hardware store for 4" inline fans, but they need to special order them and that costs more $.

You didn't happen to see a 4" one there, did you? I'm assuming not because you have a reducer, but just checking anyway.

  5. Hi Der Guy
I've seen o lot of these and just wondered why everyone blocks one end. wouldn't a fan on each end vented to a single out vent be better.
probably been done if it made sense:confused:

Frankly in the great white north

    ( the women r cuter )

  6. im pretty sure its because the air needs to get sucked through the filter and by blocking off one end it creates a vacuum which sucks the air through the carbon filter and mesh then down the piping out your vent system. but i could be completely wrong but thats just how i understand it to work

  7. Whole idea of it is forcing the smelly air go through the filter to clean it. Putting fans on each side can work if fans are placed so that they work against each other.. Both pumping in or both pumping out, in between is the roll of filter.
