  1. After doing alot of reading, and finally getting my medical card. im ready to start a DIY grow box. Here goes my plans let me know what u think.
Box dimensions 5'x3'x5' high. there will be three areas in the box flower area will be 3'x3'x5'. clone/mother 2' x 3'x 3' and utility area 2'x3'x 2'.

Vent/odor i plan on following these two ideas ( has anyone used these for their boxes?)

My box will be in the basement and i wold like to use a HEPA filter on the air inlet. Does anyone see a issue with doing this?

Plants will be in 3gal smart pots plan on mixing equal parts of FF ocean floor and happy frog. I also plan on doing some LSTing to keeping the plants a bit lower from the lights.

I got a killer deal on my bulb 400w(hortilux), ballast and hood for $150.00.

To control my fan/temps i was looking in to this C.A.P. TMP-DNe Digital Cooling Thermostat - Greners.com

Again any input would be great.

  2. Has anyone used this for paint in their cabnet?

Got this from a post on "getting the most from your lights"

    Elastomere paint (info by furun)

A rubberized roofing paint with 90% reflection. Good for growboxes. Mildew resistant. Highly reflective.

Kool Seal White Elastomeric Roof Coating ~ $15.00 (1 Gallon)

    Ultra high reflectivity
Forms a rubber-like blanket that expands and contracts
Adheres to almost any surface (very good on wood and metal)
    Available @ www.lowes.com
