Well after doing much reading,and getting my medical card I have finally decided to build a grow box. Here are my plans and if anyone sees anything that my not work please feel free to add any input. The box will be 5ft wide by 3ft deep and 5ft tall. Inside the box will have 3 chambers one for flower(3ft wide by 3ft deep by 5ft high) one for vegg/cloning (2ft wide by 3ft deep by 3ft high) and a utility area (2ft wide by 3ft deep by 2ft high) Light for flower room will be a 400w hps Hortilux ( got a great deal on the bulb ballast and hood for 155.00 out the door) Carbon filter http://forum.grasscity.com/do-yourself/699503-diy-pro-grade-400cfm-air-filter.html now still kicking around either buying a 6in inline fan or going this way http://forum.grasscity.com/do-yourself/598023-*basic-diy*-modifying-stanley-blower-cooling.html Has anyone used this DIY fan? Seeing this box will be in my basement I would like to use a hepa filter at the inlet of fresh air does anyone see anything wrong with this? The plants will be in 3gl smart pots with a equal part mix of ff ocean floor and happy frog. any input would be great. When I start the build ill be sure to build. thanks in advance for any input.
