My partner seems to think that he can build the light hoods (he works in construction and can do electrical), but i am convinced that this would be second-rate and would hurt yield. Is this true? And could anybody recommend a good affordable 1000 watt hood? My partner also seems to think that he can rig a venthilation system with a vaccum pump and lines running to the hoods to draw the air out. Once again, I'm on the other side of the fence, simply reccomending the tried and proven fan cooled hoods. He triend to convince me that the best way to keep the stalks strong enough was to keep fans blowing on the plants and circulating air. The best way to do this is with air cooled hoods and proper nutrients, right?
