Building a tolerance to music?

  1. Is it just me or do you blades build a tolerance to music? When I listen to music for too long, I build a tolerance to it and It's not as enjoyable. Then if I stop listening to music for a day or 2 then listen to music again, it's amazing again! :D I'm just wondering if it happens to anyone else.

  2. I always listen to music but I go through cycles in which I am an active listener.

  3. Yeah I listen to music everyday but if I have a few lazy days where I literally sit doing nothing apart from listening to music it sort of turns into background noise, nowhere near as enjoyable as putting some tunes on after a long day at work :smoking:

  4. Yeah! It turns into background noise! It's weird.

  5. Nah. I have never not enjoyed music.

  6. Sometimes I get sorta sick of some of my favorites, but then I just switch genres.

There is way too much music out there to get sick of it. And don't tell me it's all shit. People who say that are lazy fucks.

  7. Yeah, I think what it is, is that I build a tolerance to songs that I listen to over and over again. Listening to new music that sounds good always seems to bring break the "cycle" so to speak.

  8. I never get tired of music but again I'm a eclectic person which rocks.

  9. i go through different cycles of music. one week it will be dub step, next week it will be biggie. then the next week ill throw some sublime on when im toking. gotta go with whatever your mind tell you man.

  10. I haven't really listened to any music all week and it's driving me nuts.
