I plan on making a 12ft by 12ft in length and width and about a foot and a half deep. soil lot indoors for my grow here in Berkley. I am apart of a club here. I want to yield as much as I can indoors. I have 4 1,000 hps lamps I could possibly put to use given to me by a fellow grower out here. My question is how far apart do the plants need to be. I want to grow and yield as many as I can. This is my third grow. However, this is my first indoor grow. Thanks EDIT:Being power friendly how much wattage would I need to cover that amount of space for a high yield?
12x12? i would say you would need a 1000w unit spaced 3-4' from the center of each unit. i was working with a big grow op, where we had 6 light rooms and 8 light rooms. we used soil beds, 4x4', 12" deep, on wheels. the plants were spaced 12" apart. you can get them to a pretty decent size with that depth of soil, and spacing between plants.
