So i made my harvest(outdoor grow), and as im doing some manicuring, I noticed a few buds that look dead and hard. I use my scope and i looks like it has alot of webs or hairy areas in it. I guess its either mold or spider mit webs. I also found a few what looks like pellets of spider eggs. I also found a very thin caterpillars. now there isnt a crazy amount of these things. I just noticed it here and there as im cutting off leaves. the majority of the buds look very healthy. I mean it is a outdoor grow, i guess we should expect these things? So my questions is, how crazy do i need to search and remove all this. is bugs and smider mits not good to smoke? should i be concerned about my entire crop? like im gonna look for and remove as much as i can, but is it bad to smoke this stuff if I miss a few areas. Im kinda concerned what i can and what i cant use
i had the same problems the caterpillars themselves actually spin out web also so you might not even have spidermites and personally i smokes a lil piece that was a bit rotted and i didnt have any negative effects just was not as potent and had a bit of a dirty flavor but you could always dry out the rot and add it to trim for hash
