buds turning gold

  1. I have a couple of plants, probably a skunk or super skunk, and they are perfectly healthy and about midway through flowering. The top buds on several branches and the surrounding leaves are starting to turn a gold color. Overnight entire buds and the surrounding baby leaves have turned a light gold. The color is close to that of a matured calyx or a rusty gold.
Is this normal? I want to think yes but it is very strange to me that they are just now changing color and that it is only a few buds, all near the top. Is this just maturation? First time grower here.

I may post pictures if I get over the paranoia.

  2. Sounds like heat burn might want to back the light off a bit

  3. it's an outdoor grow

  4. have you had any particular cold nights? Low temps can bring on large colour changes. It may just be low on nitrogen. It's hard to guess without a photo. Can you take one?
