  1. again sorry for no pics but ill describe as best as i can.....250watt hps light....i vegged the plant for 1 month 1 week at about 1 1/2- 2 feet of growth..im day 25 into flowering now with Dutch Passion WW feminized. First off some of the hairs are oranging off, is this normal? and the size of the bud on my top cola is only about a inch big, 1 1/2 inch at most....i was lookin through some other grows and there buds are huge at day 25....i have a little crystalage going on....i feed it foxfarm tiger bloom 2tsp every watering (2-3 days). am i doin somethin wrong is this how the plant should be looking and develops and buds more during the next month?

  2. From what I know, that sounds about right for a plant that size, orange hairs and crystals.

You could also try pruning SOME leaves.

Other than than, go back into vegetation and grow it a little bit more tall, go for another foot, then trying budding it again.

  3. A stronger light should produce larger buds. I would recommend a 400w or larger HPS. The bigger the better.

  4. yea but for only 1 plant? thats 30000 lumens this one plants getting...should be more than enough and the grow space is only about 3x3x7

  5. It's probably because you have vegged for a short period of time. the longer you veg for the more time you plant gets to mature. Next time when you start a grow have a blowing fan after your plant is vegged for like a week or two so it could grow thick stems for more budding...

  6. Light = bud size, more light bigger buds, a 3x3 should have 400 watts or more.

  7. i c....i guess lst is the answer for the next grow?

  8. your plant is simply in remature flowering ... and yes its not mature yet. your light source seems reliable though ...

  9. I have a 2x4 space with 1000 watts HPS.
You have a 3x3 which is 1 sq ft bigger than mine.
Something worth taking into consideration maybe?
Ligthing is somthing u can never have too much of.

  10. yea im thinkin for the next grow i get a 400watt hps to add to my 250 or some CFL setup added with the 250 i have....definately lst next time though

  11. Idealy, you want 5000 lumens per square foot- that's equivalent to sunshine. For an HPS, I'd say 50-60w / square foot is good, so a 250w is good for 4-5 square feet. But I don't think your light is the problem.

What's the environment like? What are the temps at? What kind of soil? Airflow? For one thing, I'd say you're overfeeding it, nutes should be every other watering, especialy with the FoxFarm, that stuff is sticky. Do you have green leaves, but the very tips are brown and crisp?

    Good luck, man.

  12. White walls, gettin mylar for next setup......temps when lights on is around 77-82 and when lights off the temps are between 70-80. Theres constant airflow and ventilation. i have two fans and a ventilation fan. I have yet to have any signs of nute burn, all the leaves are nice and green, i just recently upped the dosage. But i did notice, my plant is still growing, new shoots coming in every other day or something, could that mean something?

  13. White Widow is pretty long flowering, so it will fill out more. It's kinda hard to say whether it looks big enough without actualy seeing it. The oranging of the hair is kinda early, how orange and how many, percentage-wise?

  14. just starting to orange out, and i would say about 5-10% of them are oranging...i have little to no crystals as well which is another confusing one

  15. If you are in flowering, in other words, if you have the lights on for 12/12, make SURE you have no light leaks, as this would definetly cause your plant to behave in funny ways. If its getting random amounts of light all the time or being interrupted during its dark period, the plants gonna be confused and not able to interpret the season as easily. Preventing light leaks is a precursor to getting a large yield.

  16. you know tenacity i think you might be right...i can see how a little light might be able to leak in in the morning time....imma fix this tonight, hopefully it didnt do too much damage

  17. Im wondering if you guys know of any material in particular that is good for blocking light. I wanna put this up in my windows so I too can prevent light leaks etc.
