Hi Guys Need some help I am growing a barneys Blueberry OG outside in a 15 gallon black tub. it grew really well up until 4 weeks into flower and it stalled, the buds haven't really grown in 2 to 3 weeks. I am using organic soil amendments and adding extra bat guano and watering daily as it is hot see at the moment and using a lot of water. The lower leaves are gradually turning yellow, I have added extra amendment to add nitrogen incase the yellowing leaves were a cause of nitrogen deficiency. It hasn't done much and the buds continue not to grow. I am wondering should I transplant the plant in ground out of the tub, the tub gets hot and maybe it is causing the stunted growth? 20190727_162116 by AndrewHesketh posted Jul 27, 2019 at 4:27 PM 20190727_162108 by AndrewHesketh posted Jul 27, 2019 at 4:27 PM 20190727_162054 by AndrewHesketh posted Jul 27, 2019 at 4:27 PM

Weird I saw all the pictures I am using organic soil amendments and adding extra bat guano and watering daily as it is hot see at the moment and using a lot of water. Guanos take a long time to break down. Your not gonna receive much help from that unless you started using it at the very start of your grow if even then. How much water daily? IMO You would be further ahead if you were to top dress with fishbone meal. The lower leaves are gradually turning yellow, I have added extra amendment to add nitrogen incase the yellowing leaves were a cause of nitrogen deficiency. That's completely normal during flower its only gonna get worst. Your plant is coming to the end of its life. It hasn't done much and the buds continue not to grow. Patients your buds will grow. Its a Sativa dominate so there flower time is longer than a Indica dominate strain.. I am wondering should I transplant the plant in ground out of the tub, the tub gets hot and maybe it is causing the stunted growth? Its to late to transplant IMO
Thank you Puffnstuff for your gold member advice I am watering probably 3 litres a day, this is due to heat as I live in the South of Spain where temperatures at the moment are a daytime of 96 degrees
You are right to have given it more food and and water. 2 things are going on. 1 your kind of in away drowning it. Because you're having to give it so much water because it's evaporating and the plants didn't get a chance to drink it all before it's gone cuz it's trying to keep its roots cool that's number two. The roots are hot and so you are by right to put it in the ground you can slit the sides of the pot before you put it in the ground I've just done this with my small garden.
nice yard bro, I keep my plants round the back away from the pool for guests etc, I wish I could have them all around like you have!
Are the drainage holes in the bottom of your pots? Even if your first inch of dirt is dry your root zone could be soaking wet if there is not proper drainage and this will stunt growth big time. Id say next grow use some better pots, those bins in your pictures do not seem like the allow any water to drain through your system properly as well as let oxygen in. Bat guano is good for veg as its high in nitrogen, find a better a better feed for flowering with good P & K. I like to give my plants a seabird guano and kelp meal tea brew with an added microbe solution and molasses. A specific brand called “fish shit” does wonder for plants and especially when in flower, talk about heavy terp. This is an amendment to bring “life” to your soil, you still need nutes.
thank you for the advice, yes there was drainage holes but the bucket was getting ridiculously hot. I have not put the plant in the ground, when I took the plant out to inspect the roots etc just a few hours after watering the based and first 3 inches were already bone dry. It now in the ground where hopefully the roots won't dry out The Bat guano I was using was from fruit bats, it is 0-12-0 so good for flowering
