Hey, yea im sorta a newbie to this...ive tried to grow before...but this time i got all the right stuff lol and i actually am pretty succesful this time...But, now my next thing is...harvesting. I have a few questions...First of all...i heard that when your plant gets to a "desired" hieght all you have to do is switch is to 12/12 adn it should begin its budding or flowering stage. Is this true? Because if so, id like ot do that soon because i dont want the plant to get too big considering its in my closet...lol...and the other thing is once they have begun budding...how will i know the best time to harvest and cure the plant? I know that this part is like extremely important as far as the quality of your bud will turn out right? So if anyone could help...id thank you very much. Peace
yes 12/12 lighting will cause your plants to bud and about 1 to 2 weeks into budding you should be able to tell the sex of your plants. Harvesting i think its that you should harvest your plant when 75% of teh hairs on your bud have turned amber.
please dont go by the stigmas (hairs) that doesnt show maturity many things can turn them red. trich's like last person said is what you want to look at that is the resin on the leaves and buds when half or a lil more go amber chop chop em and one more note your plants wil grow about 3 times the size they are when you start flowering to properly inspect trichs you need at least a 30x jewelers loupe. hope this helps

Thanks for all the help guys!! i really appriciate it...im not even joking im like making notes out of this cause um madd high right now and i know i wont forget it. me and my friend just smoked a $40 bag of some exotics...id never seen a bud so good...lol i mean i thought i got madd good shit before...but these exotics...wow...i just wanted to lik eat them...lol they were madd danky and madd like poofy but mad sticky at the same time...and so much thc they were fuckin fuzzy...it was insane...such an even high too...like to me it felt like an even 50/50 ((sativa/indica)) woa sorry i just had to share..."from one stoner to another" lol thats what my friend megan said to me when she called me to tell me about it...we got rhw same dealer....alright i g2g...peace...i gotta get up early 2m...:-( lol im gonna go say good night to my plant<3 lol sorry for the long thread....maybe someof yiour were high too when you read it...and maybe you found it funny,...lol who knows...thanks for the help again...i ccant fuckin wait this thing to be done lol them im gonna grow like 10 at a time lol....plus buying weed is gettin expensive...lol..
this is my plant...its about 4/5 weeks old now. I think ill give it another 2 or 3 weeks...then ill start budding it just cause i figure...the bigger i allow it to get...the more buds lol now if i switch it over to 12/12 the budding is going to take a maddd long time right?
You do not have the right lights or they are to far away. That plant is way to small for over a month old. Try geting cfl/floro's and put them about 2-3 inchs away from your plant.
if in the first picturei see corectly are you leaving dead yellow leaves hangin if so TAKE THEM OFF they are just stealing nutes from your plant never leave yellow leave likes that on there during flowering just stealing food from the plan and if they are already pull them off
uhm i have a 100W floro in there...thats all ive ever had...and i know about the 2 or 3 inch thing...it is about 2 inches away from it...i actually prolly need to move it up soon cause i think itll be too close lol but yea the bubl is actually a 23w...but that = out to 100w when its a flourescent. Ah and yes...those yellow leaves...i can pull those off? alright cool i will then...thanx for the tip
