Budder questions

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by petboy455, Nov 15, 2012.

  1. I have a couple questions. I just finished my budder and it is solidified in a tupperware container. Any good serving suggestions? And how do I know if it works, or is it just experience?

  2. Just use it any any recipe that calls for butter. Brownies, cookies, candies, caramels....fry some eggs. Butter your toast.

You will know if it works if you feel high. It will be a tired, lazy high most likely. Great for watching movies or just for getting a long nights sleep.

  3. Thank you! I literally just had a piece of toast with some on it and about to go to bed. Would you have to eat a lot of toast or something like so for it to like, get you super high. Like first time smoking?

You're not gonna feel it by the time you pass out...takes a while to hit. If you ate enough you'll feel high as shit in a weird way when you wake up though (or if you wake up in the middle of the night) and be confused for a second. Waking up after a really good sleep and being high as fuck at the same time is a confusing experience every time for me haha.

  5. Lol dude i think you meant butter. Like you cook weed into butter for baking edibles right. If thats the case then just add it to some cookies and eat a few and if you get stoned youre good. I wouldnt eat the butter straight up since it tastes kinda gross

Budder is a form of concentrate.

  6. I haven't heard about budder in a while..good shit

  7. I've always thought budder meant bud butter, haha

I would not eat it before bed because edibles usually take anywhere 30 minutes - 2 hours to kick in for me. It also depends how much herb your have and how big of a serving you take.

  8. I meant bud butter. I used Hashmouf's guide in the sticks but i only let it sit in fridge for 3 hours. Going to make something with the butter to eat on my empty stomach. That should make it hit harder correct?

  9. I have brownie mix by the box. It doesn't call for butter just oil?

  10. works exactly the same mange

Nope. You're going to want to eat a very light meal 30 minutes before. There's something called the first pass effect or something like that...I think granny posted about it. Basic idea is that you want to get your system going first because the first thing you eat will be kind of wasted. It'll still work if you eat it on an empty stomach but not as well as if your metabolism is already up and running for the day. I can confirm from experience too, was much stronger even with just eating a handful of crackers or something 30-45minutes beforehand.

  12. Wow, I did not know that. I'd always heard that having an empty stomach enhances the high (very true from personal experience), but I didn't know it would be even better to eat a small bit of food. I guess I've actually done this without knowing because there was one time where I used canna oil to cook my eggs in the morning and I got WAY higher than usual. All I had for breakfast that day was those eggs and a bowl of cereal, but the high was very strong, and came into effect 30 minutes after eating.

Hell yeah. Hahah, that's awesome though. I'll try to find the article when I get home from work/school.

  14. Got home and googled it, I'm surprised I got the name right. This is just a wikipedia article but if you're more curious, I'm sure you can find some more scientific articles on your own.
First pass effect - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I reread a few paragraphs, interesting to read it again.

  15. If I eat one 30-45 minutes before then eat another. Would it work as the first pass effect

Hahaha, sure thing man. The whole idea is to avoid wasting the edible though. If you have enough that you don't mind having to use more to get the same effect, by all means, do that.
If I had enough I would just eat cannabutter with every meal.

  17. Lol I think that would be a bit too strong, munch on some crackers or something.

Let him do his thing. As long as we get a link to the "greened out" experience thread after he tries it hahaha

  19. Lol, I just want the man to enjoy the weed not have a bad experience with it. But hey, if its what you want to do and makes you happy I'm all for it.

  20. You're a nice guy for warning him. Hopefully, either way, he's not planning on getting anything done that day...haha.
