Unfortunately a tent of ours got hit w a case of bud rot. At least I think that’s what this is. We noticed it once we pulled the plants from the tent and were hanging it to dry.

How does this happen? What can we do to prevent it the next go around? Do we only need to get rid of the buds where we see it or do we have to get rid of the plant? Do we allow these plants to dry with each other? We’ve never had this before and want to make sure it doesn’t happen again! TIA.

  2. Increase air circulation that directly blows the plants around, possibly increase exhaust fan as well if able.

Remove more foliage/leaves to thin the plants out more for better circulation in general. Mine are always lollipopped on the bottom bare to branches. I limit the top canopy to 12-18" thick and nothing below that. Intake air coming in down low comes up through the branches.

Never foliar feed in flower. Don't spray the plants. The only time I've had a little budrot it was from spraying my crops with water and other things often because of mites.

  3. Sorry to hear about your ailment. I would remove the infected areas and dispose of them outside. Then try to lower the humidity in the grow space. Best of luck! Just keep going. If it's too far gone, hate to say it but, pop some new seeds or clones and start over. It's better overall if it is getting out of hand. If not, just fix the humidity and remove all infected areas and hopefully the spores won't come back!
