I have a flowering plant that is close to harvesting, but I’m coming across a few problems. I’ve recently found a caterpillar in my plant and there’s poop all over, so was wondering if it’ll affect my plant at all and a way to clean it up? Also some of my buds are rotting, and i dont know if it’s due to the poop or maybe it’s past harvesting time.
sadly I lost my Crystal ball while high pondering on why things are called what they are and if there is another way to take fried peanut butter sandwiches to the next level. Spraying anything wet on your plants will likely make it worse. So please share pics and surely someone can help you.
BT sprayed every week is the treatment for Caterpillars but you needed to start months ago. I fear much of your crop will prove to be infested as every dot of worm crap causes mold. You'll know a day or three after trimming and hanging it. The worms will come crawling out of the drying buds and hang waiting for a gust of wind to blow them to a fresh live plant. BNW
If you grow outdoor on any decent scale you will get the bastards I honestly don't understand how you grow strains like cherry pie and sherbert (especially) and not spray any BT they will literally get eaten alive by worms. I had a plant I sprayed with BT weekly at minimum and I still lost like maybe 25-35% of it to caterpillars.
It actually isn’t my plant, I have a couple indoor ones because I started too late in the season and like to manipulate the lighting and stuff. This thread was started for a friend of mine that that’s doing outdoor but I’ll be sure to let him know to always use it.
