Bud Per Plant

  1. Using fluros, and vegging till they are about 3 feet tall, and flowering with fluros, how many grams can I expect per plant?

Also, would my yeild be increased if switched to an HPS setup during flowering but not veg? If so, how much bud could I expect then? (say a 450w hps for 2 plants each a potent strain about 50/50 indica sativa)

  2. Also, if anyone has any info about prices, I would like to hear it, I know around here its 50$ for 3.5 grams of chronic, kinda expensive, but if anyone has the same prices in their neighborhood, how much would it be to purchase an oz. of chronic, I could do the math, but I know its actually cheaper if you buy more... any info?

  3. first off around here and in rochestor (only two places i have lived with true chronic) an eighth for 50$ sounds exactly right, and for an oz we usually see 280-330 depending on the source, how many steps between the buyer and original source and how good it is.

As far as how much yield you can expect its all based on strains and how good of a job you do growing them. I don't know enough about the growing yet (im trying) to give you an accurate guess. And only knowing about the grow setup means i can only give you a percent guess.. like with that i would guess between 65-80% potential yield... 100% potential being under absolutely perfect conditions. Upgrading lights i would say should give you 75-85% potential. But don't take my word on that, like i said im still trying to learn and am in no aspects a master.

  4. Cool, 'bout 300 then, thanks for the info. As far as the percents go, I have heard that switching to an HID setup should triple the yeild, anyone know if there is any truth to this?

  5. So how many grams do you guys think I will get?

  6. an HPS light will definitly help you while you are flowering, yes it will probably at LEAST doubble ur yeild. we cant really tell you how much bud you will get out of ur harvest because it depends on alot of things, strain, setup, veg time, flower time, etc. give them more info and they might be able to help ya.
