Bud on the Coast??

    Good day my fellow smokers,

    I am not new to this forum in the sense that I have read hundreds of threads, but this is my first thread. I have searched here and on google about growing on the coast. I am a student at UC Santa Barbara and I was wondering if there are any strains that are compatible with the coastal air? I literally live on the Isla Vista cliff, so my plants will be literally on the beach. Has anyone ever heard of anyone trying this? Were they successful or did they fail miserably?

    Any information will help, but I just want to do it outdoor to keep the smell out of my house and to lower my startup costs.
