Bud Identification

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by TheTick, Dec 29, 2004.

  1. I was wonderin if there's anyone that could help me out identifying some buds I've stumbled across. Sadly, I have no pictures, but I can try and describe them the best I can. :)

The first one I came across was a bud that no one I've met since has ever come across. It was some strain of bud where the but was bright canary yellow. Not just yellow hairs, but the entire bud was bright yellow. It even left a yellow-ish resin on the bowl. From what I remember it smoked real well... about 3 hits for me and a friend put us down. :smoking:

The other bud I need help with is sitting right here on my desk. The guy I got it from said it was some outdoor kb, though isnt particularly fluffy. It has a very very strong smell from some strain I've never smelled before. It's not really piney or sweet-smelling, but smells almost like tea of some sort. The buds are a pretty dark green, and have lots of crystals... really juicy. Lots of copper hairs. It doesnt honestly look like much, but it smells great and smokes very very well. :D

Lemme know what yall think :smoke:

  4. the first one no one is going to be able to tell you simply because there are way too many things which it could be and hteres no way of positvly IDing bud unless you got hte seeds yourself and grew it or whoever grew it tells you
the second is exactly what they said it ways, kind bud that was grown outside instead of in a grow room under the lights and shit

  5. It is hard to ID bud. All I really care about is quality. You only find out the strain every once in a while and sometimes you don't know if it's bullshit. The only person that really knows is the grower, but even they could have acquired the wrong seeds. Basically if I'm not growing it, I don't really trust the name that much. All I worry about is how good a particular batch is that someone has.

  6. Yeah, I figured it wouldnt be too likely to identify the bud without knowing the grower. Still, it's always fun to know what you're smokin :)
