Bud doesnt get me high anymore

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by Toothpick420, Jun 21, 2013.

  1. Just like the title says, I've been smoking everyday on and off for th last four years with 2 month+ tolerance breaks about every 6 months. In this last t-break I took I stopped for 101 days just to make sure I would have a zero tolerance to thc and now that I've started again I just don't get high. I'll have a slowed down stupid feeling where I can tell I've smoked but not the same high I'm used to. I know it's not the plant because I'm smoking the best I can find in my town (Northern Lights, Grand Daddy Purp, Lemon Haze, etc.) do anyof you have the same problem or know of any remedies?I miss my days of deep, deep relaxation.

  2. Omega 3, baby! :yay:   Ya gotta have it or the CB1 receptors are made defectively! It is the CB1 receptors in your brain that get you high on cannabis! :smoke:  If too many are defective, it can lead to depression, and also cut into your high!  "Dud" receptors can't lift depression, or get you high! This article is on depression, but since the same area of the brain controls getting high and depression, the info applies!

  3. Thanks. I guess I'm gonna have to run up to cvs and get a bottle of fish oil pills before I buy some more green.

  4. Hi Storm!! Seen a lot of your posts on this forum and would just like to thank you for your helpfulness towards everyone! I will start taking omega-3 capsules daily for sure now. Luckily my mum takes them so I can feed off of her supply! :p
Thanks again for this bit of info!
Also a question I have for you about tolerance breaks. I have been smoking for 3 years every day and recently the highs have been boring and just not pleasant, so I have decided to take a tolerance break. Question is, how long do you recommend for me to keep it up for to get the high that I used to have back??
