  1. I have a six plant bubbleponic from stealth hydro ....im in week 2 and my 2 largest plants have a lot of brown and yellow spots on the oldest leaves ...i checked the ph and it was at 6.6 so i ph it down...to 5.5.....my question is ...do i need to keep adding water to the resevoir to keep it at the 6 gallon starting point...or do i just let it dwindle down till its time to change the nutes ans water completely in the resevoir

  2. Dont use the entire pack of nutes until your plants are strong enough. I would replace the water and only use 1/2 pack of grow nutes and 1/2 pack of micro. "that will give you around 300 to 400 ppm". Then slowly increase the nutes. ex week 1-2 1/2 pack, week 3-4 use 3/4 pack week 5-6 the whole pack.

I also find that using only the grow nutes can result in a mg deficiency. Add 1/20th of a pack bloom nutes every time you change the water to prevent this.

Before you add the nutes to the water, flush the plants with 1 or 2 liters of distilled water in case they have locked out the nutes do to being fed too much.

Also, get the drip feed on a timer. I know that they say that you can run that 24/7, but that will not make your roots grow trying to find moisture. Feed 1 hour, off 1 to 2 hours, and you will see a huge improvement in root growth.

And to answer your question. Yes Its best to top up the water to the 6 gallon point every time it gets an couple inches below the line, and pour the water over the hydroton.

  3. Ok...well i did start off with the 1/2 pack of nutes ...been doing that for a week and a half...but the water level did drop so i topped it off today.....also started spraying the plants with sodium free seltzer water 3 times a day and turning the fans off to let my Girls get some co2...im hoping they are Girls...But i have a pretty good hydro store in the area ...i think i may want to go with some top quality liquid nutes instead of the powder packet :hello: ones that came with the bubbleponic system...
