    Strain overview

    8 Jack 47 - Sweet Seeds
    3 Northern Lights - Canadian
2 Lemon Skunk - DNA Genetics
    1 Jack 47 Mother Plant

    Mother/Cloning method

Jack 47 Mother plant is in a General Hydroponics PowerGrower Eco using HydroDynamics MotherPlant nutrients. Its currently under a 96w T5 HO flourescent fixture (sunblaze 2' 4 bulb w/ spectralux 7200* blue lamps) and a 150w HPS sun system fixture. This plant has shown exceptional structural growth with thick branching making ideal cuttings which root in 7-10 days. All of my Jack47's came from this mother which had a 100% successful rooting using clonex nutrient solution in a aeroponic cloner. I dip cuttings in Rootech gel before putting in aerocloner. I hope to find another strain soon to add to my one mother for a little variety, hopefully the lemon skunk or northern lights are good enough to mother. When cloning with any method i suggest the use of distilled water. I find the extra calcium and iron in tap water can slow or prevent rooting from happening.

    Jack 47 DWC - 1 plant

I have 1 Jack47 in a DWC 5gal bucket under a 400w Solarmax HPS (55,000 lumens) w/ an econowing reflector. Im using General Hydroponics FloraNova nutrients with this plant. I vegged for 7 weeks and started 12/12 light 5 days ago. the plant was approx. 30' tall yesterday but i used trellis netting to pull down canopy to 24' and even out tops. hopefully I can keep this bitch under 40" but it should be a monster yielder. It already has a 1" diameter stump in the hydroton - which i use as a medium in all my systems.

    Bubbleponics 6 site system X 2

OK in these systems i have 7 jack47's, 2 lemon skunk, 3 northern lights. My systems are both home-made and identical. They each are 30 gal tote bins w/ 6 5" net pots evenly spaced around lid. I have 2 airstones in each res being powered by a commercial 18 watt air pump. Each res has a Eco 185 submersible water pump hooked up to a woodpecker drip system to top feed each plant constantly. i fill each tote with 15 gallons of water and add nutes, change every sunday. I am trying a micro SOG method with this system. It is currently under a 400w Solarmax HPS bulb and total area of totes is approx. 3.5 sq feet. I get a bit of extra light from the other 400w hps lighting DWC Jack47. I only vegged 8 plants for 2 weeks and the other 4 didnt veg at all. Im told this strategy works well for high yields in small spaces. Im trying for the 1g a watt plateau. All 12 of these plants have been in 12/12 for 5 days. I have a trellis system set at 9 inches to support big buds but theyre already growing taller than trellis. Hoping to keep these bitches under 20". Will upload pics after my lights turn on. I plan to update grow journal every sunday until harvest.
