Anyone try these? I wanna strain that taste and smells BubbleGum I think that would be so cool.. Give me your opinions, Please
I live in the midwest and i have clones and seeds from the original indiana bubblegum. that said i have also grown th seeds bubble gum, seious seeds version, and also nirvanas version. TH seeds is good but not best. strong flavor but plants grow way too branchy and take too long to finish. Serious on the otherhand is different. THeres is much better. still branchy but finishes faster and looks more like the bubblegum plants id grown. Nirvana though i think is actually best. plants grow short, yield bunches, and have true flavor/aroma. im not saying that any one is fake. Ive seen lots of indiana bubblegum from lots of farmers. Its popular for outdoor growers cause it sells for lots round there. but there are lots of breeds/phenos so depends on what you want. ANd indoor breeders have messed with it too so i suspect this is what the Dutch guys have. Bubblegum is an amazing strain one of my favorites. Youll definately be satisfied.
I second that Nirvana's is the best I have grown for indoors, however I feel Simon's Serious Seeds version is best for outdoors. I lost my mother of this strain back in 2000 which was also the original Indiana cut; and before I could really work with it. Anyway, my input would be Serious for outdoors, Nirvana for indoors.
preface....ive not yet grown them. but, im a seed whore, and decided I wanted to find out what all the bubblegum hype was about. so, i did a lot of reading through journals and smoke reports, and ended up picking up two variations... Sour Bubble - BOG. based on what ive read, this one should be the most potent in the group. flavor will be sacrificed (still tastes good, just not like bubblegum), but its a pure inbred bubblegum (special variant on his BOGBubble). Bubblicious - Nirvana. every report ive seen was a positive one, and there are a LOT of reports on this strain. in fact, many of the reports are from experienced growers, who feel this was at least as good, if not better, than many of the elite seed offerings. And, most growers seem to find a deliciously bubblegum flavored plant in each pack, sometimes a couple. i figure between the two of those, I should hopefully find out what the buzz is fwiw, ive heard plenty of not-so-great things about THSeeds bbgum, heard mostly good about the serious version (and that it has a more "up" sativa/cerebral high).
I have tried both Serious Seeds bubblegum and Nirvana Bubblelicious. They were both dank but out of the two I prefer Bubblelicious for its indica stone combined with a euphoric head high. The Serious Bubblegum was more up and energetic with a clear high.
I am also very interested in this as I would like to get more seeds in the somewhat near future and a bubblegum one sounds awesome (never had the pleasure). I was thinking either Nirvana Bubblicious or Female Seeds Bubblegummer. I am currently growing Nirvana's Kaya Gold and Mandala's Safari mix (I bought these for variety ease of growing). Anyone ever grow out Female Seeds version? From what I have read people are generally favorable toward Female Seeds.
FTR THSeeds was the creator of Bubblegum,and Simon from Serious Seed had the only original mother ....till Adam asked for cutting again so he could start to make seeds again.. The reason why THSeeds, didn't carry Bubble for so long was because They got broken into, and someone killed/stole his moms ( only 1 of 6 was stolen), and this kinda broke Adams heart.... so he didn't touch Bubble for quite awhile. Glad he is back in the game.
THSeeds is the best and most consistent....and now I know why! thank you. White seeds double gum is good...same high and somewhat different taste, sweet as hell, probably the cheapest one white seeds has too. Bargains are always welcome THSeeds...S.A.G.E...mmmm...sorry, different topic.
I'm gonna have to try out the TH Bubblegum. I grew out Nirvana Bubblelicious and while it's a great smoke, didn't get the bubblegum pheno. I only tried one though so it's not such a surprise.
