Whats up GC! These are my 2 bubblegum plants. They are both 3 weeks old today from seed and have been under the 12/12 light cycle for the past 11 days. I have no sign of sex right now, but hopefully they will show soon. I wanted to post some pics out here for you all and see if i could get some feedback. Please comment and let me know if they look ok, when they will show sex (would i see male preflowers by now?), and any other advice. Thanks for all your help GC. Setup: 400 watt digital electronic HPS/MH light (1) 6" intake fan (1) 6" outtake fan (1) regular desk fan (1) 5 gallon pot (1) 3 gallon pot
Turns out that the plant in the bigger pot is a male. The other one is my last and only hope. I have no sign from it yet, but im thinking since it has taken longer it is a female. is that a good guess?
yeah dude they look quite nice. sorry to hear about the one male. honestly though, there is no way to guess what the second one is going to be. some just take longer to show sex than others, regardless of sex. and don't worry, even if it's male you're only 3 weeks in so it won't put you too far back to start over. we've all been there at some point in our time.
i read somewhere that females tend to show their sex later than males, so maybe its a good sign the other hasn't showed its sex yet!
Thanks for the comments everyone. Today it has been 2 weeks since i switched the lights to 12/12. I think i have discovered a slight light leak so that may be the issue. That problem has been fixed so we we will see.
