Hey everyone. So i have a 4 plant sea of green underneath a 150W HPS. I vegged for about a month with CFL's. The strain is Bubblegum. I started using just plain water and very little molasses last week. The hairs seem to be almost 50/50 white/red, and the buds seem to be swelling a bit. I was thinking of chopping them in a week.. any suggestions? too soon? too late? The leaves also seem to indicate that they are almost done.. ANY help is GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKS EVERYBODY !!!
nice pics what Nutes did you use over the flowering period?you could chop it nowish or in a week for a heavier stone when about 70/30

Thanks man. I started with 1pt Organic potting mix, 2pt worm castings and 1pt vermiculite and then used Fox Farm Tiger Bloom, Fox Farm Beastie Bloomz, Cal-Mag, Molasses, Superthrive and Bone meal. This is just the first run so next time i hope to have enough money to use advanced nutrients products.
Cool. that's sorta what i was thinkin', since a lot of bud development happens in the last 2 weeks. Just out of curiousity though, how can you tell? just by the size of buds and the color of the hairs? Thanks.
Has got it, even a week over suggested flowering time big swelling occurs and that Bubblegum can sdwell even more 2 weeks is spot on in my opinion also. GooD LucK
I grew bubblegum and I don't think the trichs change to amber on this strain, unless you wait till it's past it's prime. Looks ready, I'd go 4 more days then 3 days of dark then chop. my 2 pents anyway. My bubblegum still had TONS of white mixed with orange when it was ready as far as hairs go. I don't think it will stop pushing out white hairs until it's way over due. I'd say your buds could swell more but when your leaves dry up like that to the bottom of the leaf then it's ready.
Yea i think you're right. I took a lil' sample popcorn nug, and noticed some small green balls forming in the calyxes, which i think is a sign its time to chop. Im flushing for two more days, giving 24-48 hrs darkness, and choppin. Smells SOOOOO goood, really unique fruity diesely smell.
7 wks is a lil short for the strain...my pack says 8-10 wks flowering...have you checked the trichs? honestly to tell you the truth looks like she is starting the last 2 week swell...i would wait it out bro and not short yourself several grams....
