I have been planning to do a grow for some time now and finally ran out to the local hydro shop and got 2 bubble buckets (on-sale and assembled). I plan on doing a 12/12 from seed grow. I have set up a grow area that will nicely accommodate these 2 buckets, but I am unsure about the best way to sex the plants. The buckets only afford the space for 2 plants, so I would like to be sure I have females before plopping anything in there and wasting weeks of grow time on males. So my question is: Can I sex the plants before placing them in the bubble bucket? If so, how? I didn't know if germinating via paper towel and transfer to perlite cups (which I have read is an easy rockwool alternative to bubble bucket germination) would work long enough to allow for sexing. Thanks in advance for the help! Grasscity has been invaluable in even getting this far in my grow.
