Yes, I know browning pistils are a sign of bud maturity. But here's the deal. I have a few branches with popcorn buds that are heavily shaded and a bit crowded. On those branches, the leaves are starting to brown from the tips down, and the pistils are all turning brown. I'd say only 1/4 of the pistils are reddish brown on my most mature tops at this point, which is what has me worried about the popcorn nugs. Any help is appreciated!
