Brownies From Wax?

  1. I was hoping someone has some advice for making oil for brownies from a gram of shatter and a gram of wax?
    Anyone tried this?

    I unfortunately didn't have any trim to make it in a more orthodox fashion

  2. Decarb if you want then cook it into your butter before baking , much easier than trim IMO  :yummy:

    I normally dissolve my hash oil into coconut oil, since it his high in fat, at about 150F for a couple hours, since you aren't straining any dry material out you don't have to cook it for too long, just till it's completely dissolved (about 2 hrs is fine). You can also use butter or olive oil, but I find coconut works best. Then basically follow any brownie/cookie/cake recipe and replace the oil or butter with the cannaoil or cannabutter, you can add more to be more potent but you will end up with a greasier brownie. Don't worry about decarbing when baking, because the THC will decarboxylate in the oven, best to preserve the thc until you're ready to use it, i've heard it loses potency slowly after being activated but never tested this theory. If you want to decarboxylate your oil right off the bat, so you can eat it raw, bring your heat up to about 200F for about an extra 30mins after dissolved. I use a mason jar in a water bath for this.
