I'm sure there are many issues with my plants here so please do your best to guide me lol. First off let me mention i inherited these plants unexpectedly so am not really familiar with their previous regimen. What I can tell you is that when i got them they were very healthy with no stress...a week and a half ago. Needless to say...what have i done and what can i do. Firstly here's what i can tell you Miracle Grow soil ph balanced tap water-6,5 using 126 w led grow panels area is decently ventilated, little heat These plants are in mg soil i believe the 3 month slow release...i know i know so many people flags just got raised because of many peoples problems with it. I am working on getting new soil to transplant to since they desperately need larger pots. (I'm hoping that is a large part of the taller ones problem?) My soil question comes in 2 parts- First how can i transplant my plants into new soil without really bringing most of the mg soil over with it. Obviously i don't want to risk damaging my roots in the process of freeing up the soil? Advice? Second- Of course I'm looking at soil ph and considering nutrient lockout unfortunately I'm not sure if im equipped to do so. I have a simple ph water drop tester kit. So I lower my water to about 6.5 when i water my plants. However can i measure my soil with this simple kit? Every time i try to measure runoff it always comes up 8...solid green when tested. Of course I'm not sure if this works due to what could be in there with it...it seems fairly clear? So that being said should that work and is it possible my soils ph is just that high and damaging my plants? If so if i was looking to get its ph down to the 6.5 range would i have to flush it with something like 5 to meet a median or simply flush with 6.5 to make the soil the same level? Without advisement I'm a little weary of flushing my soil with some very low ph water to see what happens... Next my major problem that all my plants share is the v "praying" shape. The tall one worst of all as you can see in the pictures. The little sprout...about 2-3 weeks Hindu Kush.... is starting to show signs of it as well. On the larger plant the new growth is nearly closed on itself and the leaves are twisting with brown tips. The shorter plant shares similar symptoms of v shape leaves and curving new growth. It also has some jagged missing spots in some of its upper leaves. Is this just pests? I notice i have a bit of a problem brewing so is that them chomping away? It also seems that the leaves in general are dry and have a crispy feel....especially the large plants v shape leaves. Now with all these issues they still seem to growing fairly quickly...especially the tall one. It is suppose to be the same plant as the short one yet its twice as tall and way different. Same pack feminized Alaskan Ice. Male, Random? Who knows but regardless with all this stress i would assume its not advisable to try to take any clones off them as they would likely fail due to all its current stress? Sorry for the numerous questions. Your input is greatliy appreciated
