Brown spots, yellowing, please help

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Twelvejewelz11, Sep 3, 2017.

  1. here are some pictures.

I posted an issues about 2 months ago and I got the help I needed here and fixed the issue. My small plants were yellowing but now they are grown. I fixed that issue by repotting into 16 inch pots. Planted from seed on April 15th. 18/6 light indoor vegging. I was bringing them out for sun all day every day and then under a T5 for the rest of the time to equal 18 hours of light and 6 hours dark. Now they have been outside only since around July 1st. Before I put them out for good I matched up the lighting hours. Ok so they are in about 20% organic soil, 30% Canadian sphagnum peat moss, 40% perlite and about 10% "other" such as worm castings, lime, and such. Here are pics:

The lower leaves are yellowing again at a very fast rate. They have black spots and dark spots all over some leaves. It's too late to put them into bigger pots as they have buds on them already. I am feeding with 15-30-15 bloom booster 1/2 dose twice a week which I started a couple weeks ago. I notice the tops of the stems of the leaves are turning purple on both plants. This usually indicates a phosphorous issue if my research is correct? I have a clone of the GC in the ground in super soil that is growing a lot better and healthier than the potted mother. What else can I do? When I water I let about 1/2 gallon drain usually. Last night it rained though and I left them to let the rain flush then I fed this morning with PH 6.5. The runoff is reading 5.2 PH. I added some more lime and watered it in a bit and now they are sitting there outside. What can I do? I know they tend to yellow toward the end of their life but the buds are nowhere near done and the clone looks completely green and NOT showing the same issues. The one on the left is Girl Scout cookies and the right is green crack. The one with the isssues is the green crack plant. But the GSC plant has the purplish tops of the stems now too. What are the "spots" and how come it is yellowing so fast? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

  4. Sorry.
The 4 questions I have are:
    1. What are the spots?
    2. How or what can I fix it with?
    3. Is the yellowing normal this early into flower?
    4. Should I add some cal mag plus even though I've been using dolomite lime?

    Thanks again!

  5. Here are some more pictures of the spots if it helps. Thank you!

  6. Here is the GC today. You can see all of the lower leaves are dead and gone. I have been pulling them as they are white and yellowing. It seems to be coming on fast. Tops of the stems are purple but the bottoms are still green. Any ideas? If you need any more info just ask and I'll be happy to give it to you. The plant is about 4 feet tall and the stalk is about 2 inches around and it was planted on 4/15. And the thinning and spotting as you can see too:

This is the GSC plant for a comparison. This plant started to show flowers about a week later than the GC. Hopefully I can use this as a Christmas tree this year . I am in the north east i believe it is zone 7 if that helps since I am outdoors, sorry. The GSC is not really yellowing but it does have purple on the tops of the stems too. I did a folair spray 2 days ago with epsom salt. Any help would be appreciated.
