ok so today i have bought two newly grown plants at home depot, but one of them already have brown leaves.... i put them in two huge pots with organic soil called fox farm,ive been watering it normally and keeping an eye on. what are some causes of these leaves to turn brown? THEY ARE STRAWBERRYS
Sounds like blight to me. Apply a fungicide in five day intervals. You probably are over watering them. Lay off the water a bit and see what happens. You may also need a little nitrogen but don't over do it on the nitrogen. It will burn it also. ie--make the leaves curl.
