So my last grow I was plauged with a few problems, this time my brother thought he would take a shot. His is an unknown strain started by a bag seed. He used nitrogen urea during veg, and is currently using wood ash and a multi-vitamin for flowering. I'll post a few pics in a sec.
u got a serious case of powdery mildew bro ....that shit is gonna be toxic to smoke ..if u dont do sumthing that fucking thing u have surrounding it is just keeping the moisture and humidity in and not allowing air flow ...GET RID OF IT
That "thing" around it is white mesh. Plenty of air flow, I've seen the plant in person but haven't seen any powdery substance or anything on it. I assume you are referring to the white at the top in the bud pic?
haha no...im talking about the POWDERY MILDEW ..all over the leaves..if u dont think its there or have a problem with it go ahead and smoke it and get a lung infection ..mesh still doesnt allow enough air flow ..CLEARLY

Oh and kindly cut the cocky out of your posts, the pictures are from a low quality 5MP camera in low light with flash and it started out under a sappy tree so possibly flash feedback from tree sap........like I said, I'll look into it soon.
Ok, further investigation reveals that I was correct. No powdery substance anywhere at all on the plant. Gonna start another grow of my own soon I think, germing a Cali Gold seed as we speak.
Just got some fresh and closer pics, take a look. I don't think its half bad for a first time late season outdoor. Especially seeing as he has no prior history with cannabis at all. Still not sure what this strain may be, any ideas? I'll ask about smell in a sec, he says its strong smelling but idk what type of smell lol
So the most I could get was "sweet, not skunky at all" before he stopped texting back. I know there's not much to go off of for an ID, but any educated guesses are welcome
