Broken slide glued together?

    I just broke my slide, but I have a bowl that I glued and duct taped together. I know I shouldn't be cheap and just go buy a new one, but if this will work might as well save money!

    Is there any danger of me inhaling broken glass? Since the edges of the bowl and stem are broken. Would small particles possibly get inhaled?
